Giving the Edge Foundation

In 2013 Robert Woolley received an anonymous donation to help open the Giving The Edge Foundation. Growing up in the community Robert knew that while being a business owner of The Edge Arena and The Edge Training Academy he would always need to have a giving arm available. Through the years the need to support youth as a whole has grown and with that so has our mission. Our mission is to help young people to grow into successful, caring, responsible, and productive adults by building partnerships and community support. We achieve this through providing opportunities for youth to engage in community service projects, character development, scholastic achievement activities, and supporting our youth’s social and emotional needs.

We achieve this through after school and extracurricular activities that focus on Helping youth understand body control, spatial awareness, agility, and functional strength, but most importantly character development and leadership skills. Also through our scholastic achievement programs; Win The Day PBIS program, Field Day support, and the Win The Day Essay contest we hope to empower the entire school society through positive recognition. We understand the importance of a community’s need to come together and have fun while creating partnerships and opportunities for our youth to volunteer, and work hard to create events that bring the community together. Lastly, we have our leadership programs; creating programs to allow youth to make healthier choices, use self-control, and to give back to their community. Diving into who they are as a person and growing upon their character positively to be the community leader we know they can be.
